Angels approve. Losing Escobar will hurt but I'm hopeful other players can step into that role and provide depth. I have loved La Stella for a long time and I think he would be a solid everyday player if given the chance but he is buried on the Cubs ridiculous depth chart and I'm tired of waiting and hoping he gets traded. Bethancourt is intriguing now that he might be a Pitcher and Catcher for the Padres. I'm hopeful though that this will pay off down the road as I like Puk a lot.

The Marlins accept, after accepting the Marlins I knew I would have to make some deals to field a respectable team.The Marlins had no 3B in org. so getting Escobar will fill the 3B position. Thanks to the Angels for easy negotiations with a newcomer to the league.
