Sharks move to Florida

[Rob]

The San Jose Sharks have relocated to Florida and been renamed to the Florida Panthers!    I did have to shuffle the divisions a bit.  You Mountain West folks will likely not be happy to hear the powerhouse Blues are now in your division!  MW is now the toughest division in the league.  I'll be rooting for the Coyotes to surprise you all!

Capn Cally will be keeping San Jose draftees this season.  He can select Florida draftees next offseason.

Glad to see people get to change teams when they get in.  Makes sense.  Man, I had an uphill road to climb before this move.  Now it's going to be really hard!  Oh well, whoever wins the division will be well deserved and poised for a deep playoff run!

The best teams should still make the playoffs since we have 10 playoff spots.  It will make for some nice rivalry in that division though.  Central East is still a strong division with Carolina, Chicago and Detroit.  I'm sure they won't miss the Blues though!
