The intent is to encourage parody. Poorly performing teams have the best chances to claim players, whether it's one or ten, until they perform well. In my ideal season, half the teams would finish one game above .500 and the rest one game below .500. This is in line with the rules of MLB.

Just surprised me.  Especially the fact that Houston had a decent record last year!  LOL.
