The Reds would like to promote : Catcher - Devin Mesoraco from AAA Louisville to the Big League 40 man Roster.

Room for him was created by placing 2B Freddy Sanchez to the DL

Placing a player on the 15 day DL does not remove him from the 40 man roster.

Sorry,I was under the impression that i could hold more than 40 man on my fantrax 40 man roster.
Just as long as i don't hold more than 40 players active.

Reds place on "Irrevocable Waivers" Pitcher Philippe Valiquette with the purpose of demoting him to my AAA Minors.

No problem. Players on 60 day DL may be removed from the 40 man roster, but not if he's on the 15 day DL. In "fantasy speak", you must have 25 active players, and up to 15 on the bench. Players on 60 day DL go on the DL and don't count against the limit.

Will take care of this when I get home tonight.
