Angels & Cubs Part II

[Bronx Bombers]

My bad Dan, I am still learning who was signed and when... Cubs to accept new deal... Mike was only giving me Gardner if I took on Fukudome and gave him Pierre, so the outfielders are off the table now.

Cubs trade:
SP Hochevar, Luke, $1.5m (P-2011)
SP Kendrick, Kyle, $2m (2012)
SP Mazzaro, Vin, $0.5m (P-2012)
RP Madson, Ryan, $4m (2011)
7-20 CHC (from COL)
8-8 CHC (from LAA from CHC from OAK)
8-9 CHC (from CIN)
8-20 CHC (from COL)
10-19 CHC (from STL)

Angels trade:
P Reckling, Trevor, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Romero, Ricky, $0.5m (P-2012)
CI Wigginton, Ty, $3m (2010)
RP Thornton, Matt, $1m (2011)
4-17 LAA (from OAK)
4-27 LAA (from BOS)

Cubs accept new deal.. this trims the major league pitching staff, and brings in young talent, draft picks, CI depth, and a cheaper version of Madson (and probably better).
