Angels approve.
First of all, all the players involved (except the prospect) are making 440k this year and under control through 2020 in case anybody is wondering.
Angels do this deal to reallocate assets to a higher priority (pitching).
Altherr has always been a toolshed and seemingly put it all together last year between AAA/MLB. Definitely makes me nervous trading him away after he was the 16th highest scoring OF by points per game(although a somewhat small sample size) Both he and Tomas should be full time starters this year and have a very good chance to out score Martinez between the two of them. However, all 3 of the players the Angels dealt carry some risk too. I figure if 2 of the 3 pan out I will lose the deal but the Angels are in win now mode and will take the more sure thing at a more needed position.
Thanks to Vanadio for the quick to the point negotiations. :toast:
