:TOR: confirms.  We reacquire Lowrie to help make another run at the title this season.  I love his dual eligibility at 2B/3B, should be a huge asset should injuries arise.  Blewett and Brett have nice futures and I'm a fan of both, but Lawrie replaces Brett's future role on the team and Blewett is a few years away.

We weren't in a big hurry to move Lawrie because he's inexpensive and still carries breakout potential (especially with the change of scenery) but the strength of this prospect return won me over and the risks associated with Lawrie contributed.

Brett looks like he will be a solid big leaguer at 2B and I like a lot about Blewett - particularly his stuff and size. Brett is a much safer bet but it's not difficult to see Blewett in the top half of a MLB rotation in 3 to 5 years.
