Rays Contract Extensions/Arbitration

The Rays announce the following contract extensions:

David Murphy, OF Ranked 46th/258 which translates to 82%....2 years at $9,926,300

*Still negotiating with Ben Zobrist, this one is expected to go until the deadline.....


and I may have stated this in another post, but also offer arbitration to all ARB eligible players on the roster.

Ben Zobrist, MI Ranked 7th/186 which translates to 90%.....2 years at $12,100,000

I'm not sure this is correct. 
7/186 would be the 96th percentile, which would equate to an extension cost of $21,016,000 per year.  That's quite a bit different than $12,100,000.

Yes, my bad...ThePetis is correct.  I made a mistake on calculating for Zobrist....I will need to think about whether or not I will be extending him for a few days.  The Murphy calculation looks to be correct and I will move forward with that extension.
