Offseason Announcements

AFB offseason has started and I wanted to announce the calendar.  The updated calendar is always stickied here - http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=102534.0

All times posted are MST (add 2 hours for EST) - Dates & Times may change

Oct 25, 2013 (Noon) - Begin Amateur Draft
Oct 31, 2013 (Noon) - Deadline to offer contract extensions (2 per team)
Dec 1, 2013 (Noon) - Deadline to non-tender players (non-guaranteed contracts) Basically anyone eligible for arbitration will receive it unless otherwise noted - Service Time is applied here
Jan 5, 2014 - Have Fantrax Fully set-up with all teams
Jan 10, 2014 - Free Agency starts

If you don't want to offer arbitration to a player you need to post it in transactions, otherwise all available players will be given arbitration on your team.

I will be updating the rosters over the next few months to the 2014 Year so be patient as it takes time.

I also would like to offer recruiting credits for people that can bring in new ProFSL recruits.  These credits can be used for inPoints which can get you into the ProFSL Invitationals for $$$ without costing you a penny.

We need to fill out 3 more teams at this point and I will have a poll standing for a few weeks to determine if any other teams need new GMs.  Last year the draft was pretty lame as there were about 10-12 teams that didn't participate.  This year it seems we should at least cut that number in half and have a great draft.

The :PIT: and :BOS: GMs have been great additions to this league and I welcome all of you to find friends, colleagues, spouses, parents or whomever to come join in on the fun.  I would like to make this the #1 baseball league on ProFSL and can only do it with your help.
