Chargers/Steelers Blockbuster [2020 Draft Picks]
« on: September 04, 2019, 10:21:57 PM »
Steelers Trade:
WR Zay Jones 1.7(2020)
QB Josh Allen 5.3(2022)
TE David Njoku 2.4(2021)
Draft picks 2020 1st through 7th

Chargers Trade:
QB Philip Rivers 20.9(2019) 20.9M pd in 2019
WR Keenan Allen 11.3(2019) 11.3 pd in 2019
RB Austin Ekeler .6(2019)
DE Joey Bosa 6.5(2020)
RB Melvin Ingram 16(2020) 16M pd in 2019 <> 4M pd in 2020

:SDG: makes this trade to completely retool the franchise. I trade a combination of aging pieces and young pieces here to acquire a significant amount of youth and upside. Iím not sure if Allen is a franchise QB or not, but the upside is certainly there and the cost controlled contract makes him much more valuable to me than Rivers. Jones took a nice step forward last year and hopefully with Allen under center all year Jones will take another step forward this season and the youth is great as compared to Keenan Allen. I also like Njoku to take another step forward this year not to mention acquiring 7 draft picks. Selling on Bosa young and a potential breakout back in Ekeler was tough, but overall I think I did what was best for :SDG:  good luck to Yeagg and the Steelers.

Two words. Austin Ekeler. I own him in every league possible. I think he's going to be a top tier RB. Of course reenforcing my WR with another stud in Keenan Allen and adding2 dominant forces to my DL help as well. I hated to see Njoku and Josh Allen go but I'll worry about my QB situation when both of mine have retired. Thanks Ryan. Good luck.

  • gventura: LA just announced 3 more months, CA Gov says no sports this summer. Even if the MLBPA come to angreement with the Owners, still not convinced a July start is gonna happen. AZ cases are spiking the last couple days so the AZ/FL plan probably wont work either
