Title: Rays/Cards Trade
Post by: Paul S. on July 10, 2013, 10:10:50 AM

:TB: trade:  MI Florimon, Pedro, $0.5m (P-n/a), signed 3/3/13
:STL: trade:  MI Gordon, Devaris (Dee), $0.5m (P-2014)

:STL: makes this trade to add a needed MI due to Infante and Walker going on the DL yesterday.  Gordon has much more upside than Florimon but we needed someone who is starting now.  Thanks Mike, please confirm.

:TB: confirms.

Paul summed it up pretty well, Tampa feels that trading a little depth today for a higher ceiling player fits our M.O.  Thanks for the easy talks :STL:
