:NYR: and FNHL are pleased to introduce the new owner/GM of the New York Rangers (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=8306.0), Tubbs (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=1004)!
Rangers' new owner comes to us from the Multi-sport world and is a longtime Profsl member. Challenges facing this hockey fan from the big state include:
- Rebuilding the Rangers and getting them back into the play-offs.
- Determining strategy to fill out their roster this off-season.
- Bulking up on the Blueline to compete.
- Getting up to speed quickly on how we do things Franchise NHL!
* Franchise is currently in Round 1 of the play-offs (round of 16)
* get familiar with the league deadlines (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=8273.0) AND Rules (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?board=367.0)
* start looking for trade partners and making some deals once the the trade freeze lifts April 28th @ 0h01 ET.
* prepare to resign 2012-13 contracts set to expire on July 3, 2013 @ 17h00 ET.
* prep strategy for Free Agency which opens July 11, 2013 @ 0h01 ET (position specific) starting with Defenesemen.
* to search for Minor Roster (MiLR) players use the Profsl.com SEARCH tool (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?action=search) + check off "Franchise NHL: Official Rosters" to target your search.
