Title: COL/KC Trade
Post by: COLRockies on March 11, 2013, 01:00:49 PM

Rockies trade Addison Russell and Yordano Ventura (2 top 100 prospects)
Royals trade Billy Butler and Tyler Collins.

I get a Pujols replacement and solid prospect in Collins.

Going into the season with 3 starting 1Bs and a DH didn't make sense, so I was happy to get 2 good prospects, and I am a big fan of Russell. Already have 3 good OF prospects, so Collins was expendable as well. Also helped clear some space on the 40 man roster. Thanks to the Rockies for the easy negotiations.

Addison Russell to Idaho Falls Chukars (Rk)
Yordano Ventura to Burlington (SS)
