Title: TRADE: Cats + Fish make a small deal
Post by: PigsRule on March 09, 2013, 06:08:33 PM

Traded to :FLO:
Round 4 - 2013 (SJ)

Traded to :SJ:
RW/C Torrey Mitchell, $1.5m (2013-2014)

:FLO: trades under performing + under valued RW/C Torrey Mitchell to :SJ: in a deal we call addition by subtraction. we wanted a 3rd but will settle for SJ's 4th which is likely one of the first 10 picks in the rd.

time to let Mitchell go after hoping his value would jump with a new team this season and change of scenery but he hasn't lived up to my expectations so i'm cutting bait. he's still a great option on both RW + Centre but i need to call up a prospect who gets more points and have to make room on my roster.

thx for the smooth trade talks Burke!  :toast:

Sharks make this deal for the future. Mitchell's a safe bet for a 4th and we have plenty of picks. The thing I like most about this guy is his dual eligibility at C and RW. He definitely isn't worth a 3rd right now but maybe next year.

Good deal for us! Thanks Pigs!
