Title: Mets / Astros Trade
Post by: yahoolando on January 28, 2013, 03:07:07 PM

Heading to NYM :NYM:
OF JD Martinez
SS Johnathan Villar
P Ruben Alaniz

Heading to HOU :HOU:
1B Justin Smoak
OF Trevor Plouffe
OF Fernando Martinez

Houston does this to bolster their bench.  I have Brett Gardner to man LF now and Corey Seager is my SS of the future.  Hopefully Smoak can realize his potential and take over for Kotchman at 1B.  I like Plouffe's multi-postion ability and Martinez could get some OF/DH time in Houston.

Thanks to :NYM: for the discussion.
