Title: Boston / Mets come to terms
Post by: nerwffej on January 05, 2013, 05:59:48 PM

Boston sends:
OF Hicks, Aaron, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Mets send:
MI Escobar, Yunel, $8m (2015)
Mets pay 2.5m (2013)

Boston makes deal to add to depth for push this year and next to win championship.

Mets agree. We are very deep at MI and very shallow at OF

I feel HIcks might get some PT this year, but Next yr I think he will a bunch. All in all I got Escobar for free during the waiver period, so its worth the risk to get Hicks.

Thanks Jeff
