Title: Phillies - Dodgers deal...
Post by: papps on October 18, 2012, 05:32:01 PM

The Phillies continue their busy offseason by agreeing to a deal with LA.

Phillies receive:
CI Gonzalez, Adrian, $19m (2015)
SP Smith, Will, $0.5m (P-2015)
RP Deduno, Sam, $0.5m (P-2015)

Dodgers receive:
MI Reyes, Jose, $7m (2014)
SP Hamels, Cole, $14.5m (2016)
Phillies pay 3m in 2015 and 4.5m in 2016

I'm happy to add a much needed power bat to my lineup.  I'm hoping Gonzalez settles in LA and continues to be productive.  Losing fan favorite Cole Hamels is hard but had to be done.  I added a few pitchers for depth as well.
