Title: extension question

when a players rank is past ranks with prices for instance rps go to 78 rank players cashner is ranked 168 his current contract is .5 mil 2013 if i want to extend him will it reemain .5 for terms within guidelines of the length .5 will allow? i ask so i know when books turn over if i can extend him for extra 2 years at the .5 before next year starts locking him up till 2015

If the number isn't listed, then the salary is .5 mil
