Royals Give

SP Lilly, Ted, $10m (2010)
x SP Lilly, Ted, $-8.5m in 2010
OF DeJesus, David, $2.5m (2011)


Tigers Give

SP Baker, Scott, $4m (2012)

I now will have a rotation of at least Drabek, Happ, Baker, and Britton until 2012 with others in my system on their way. Ted Lilly was somebody I was looking to trade at the deadline. I was not planning on moving Dejesus, but now I will need to acquire an OF through either the draft, FA, or another trade. Good trade talks.

I agree because I get a solid outfielder for next year to replace Damon and I get Lilly to fill bakers hole for this year
