The Rays GM, Mike Menehune, has emailed me his resignation from this league due to time constraints. This leaves openings in Detroit, Seattle, Tampa Bay, and Toronto.

Peeps~
I would love to see these positions get filed. So contact your fantasy buds and get them in a league that is up and coming! they havent missed much! Thanks Chad

My boy Devin is on the waiting list as he only wants the Yanks... I'm not sure who else I personally know that would be a good candidate. I'll see if I can do anything.

What I know is that the Yankees are in really good hands. and he wont be moving for a long time. So have him look at a vacant team.

Paul Collins (not Phil) is officially the new GM of the Tampa Bay Rays. His username is Lowcountry Bulldawg. He inherits a team that is fresh off of a 91-win season in which they missed the playoffs because the Red Sox (99 wins) and Yankees (103 wins) were ahead of them. He'll have a big job fixing the bullpen and the extra pieces of the lineup and he has $20.5m available to him. Key free agents for the Rays are:
P Balfour, Grant, $1.5m (2009)
MI Bartlett, Jason, $2m (2009)
P Howell, J.P., $0.5m (2009)
C Navarro, Dioner, $2m (2009)
MI Zobrist, Ben, $0.5m (2009)
I believe Zobrist and Bartlett are expecting big pay days thanks to their huge seasons in 2009!

Thanks Coby, and I had never heard the Phile thing before....lol! Guys, look to be active here, but before hand I will need a week or so to get a better grasp of rules and how the offseason works.
I appreciate your patience if you email me and I do not immediately get back with you. I will answer all emails and try to work with you on making "something" happen if possible.
I look forward to the upcoming season and will appreciate any advice and input you savvy veterns have to offer.

Hey there, my name is Anthony Warner. This league looks like a lot of fun, and I am very intersted in joinging. I am a Yankee fan, but i would not mind taking control of the Detriot Tigers. Let me know if that team is not taken, and if i could take control of that team?

Everyone welcome Daniel Valensi (guak2005) as the new Blue Jays GM! Daniel, as I discussed with you over PM, read over all of the rules. I have you setup in the league at Fantrax. Currently, contract extensions are frozen until we get the scoring system fixed. Other than that, you may release and trade players. Free agency starts in January!

Glad to have you Paul and Dan, hope you enjoy the league!
