Title: Marlins/Cards Deal
Post by: Paul S. on July 27, 2010, 12:48:45 PM

Cardinals trade:
OF Kearns, Austin, $2.5m (2012)
MI Aviles, Mike, $2.5m (2012)

to Marlins for:
OF Scott, Luke, $9m (2010)
X-OF Scott, Luke, , $-3m in 2010 paid by by TOR

Cardinals agree.  This gives us another strong bat at CI/OF and possibly reduces reduces salary for 2011.  Marlins to confirm.
