Title: Vladdy leaves Cincy - Goes back to the Angels
Post by: Dan Wood on July 26, 2010, 05:41:44 PM

LAA gets

OF Guerrero, Vladimir, $12m (2010)
X-OF Guerrero, Vladimir, Money from LAA, $-5m in 2010
X-OF Guerrero, Vladimir, Cash from NYY, $-7m in 2010

Cincy gets

SP Hochevar, Luke, $1.5m (P-2011)
+ 1.5 mil in 2010
OF Joyce, Matt, $0.5m (P-2011)
+.5 mil in 2010

 - I figure the talent of Joyce and Hochevar is better than a supplemental first rounder. Always liked Joyce and Hochevar, and have tried getting them during the season. Angels to confirm.

Angels accept.

I turned reserves and my 5th SP into two starting outfielders, one a number one guy in Vlad.  A's shouldn't count the Angels out of this race!
