all teams need to request a buy out discount transaction.
they are not automatic.
a team submits the request, we process the request on the team's pg. all about the papertrail.

at this time, you cannot receive the request as the new team ( :DET-NHL: ) has not offered the FA a new contract.

you need to see what Lecavalier's new annual salary is before receiving the discount - we'll leave your request here and process once we know what Vincent receives from DET.

per :NYI: discount request on their buy out player Vincent Lecavalier, now that we've processed the player's new contract, we can offer a discount up to the equivalent of the new contract annually.
