Traded to NJ
Left Wing Jan Mursak, $0.2m (2014-2015-EL)
Right Wing Mark Stone, $0.2m (2012-2013), Erik Condra, $0.6m (2012-2013)
Traded to Ottawa
C - Mark Scheifele (2011: 1/7 - 7 Games)
Round 2 - 2013 NJ
We wanted to get Stone and Condra while Sens were looking for roster space. I really didn't want to move Scheifele but I think the other Mark has a higher ceiling if anyone watched the World Juniors last year. Works out for both of our teams.
Sens to confirm.

Ottawa management confirms this deal.
We're preparing our roster for full-time players who will help us contend this season and had to give up promising prospects Stone, Mursak and Condra to do so. We add a talented top MiLR prospect and a pick to help keep our minor league team well stocked.
Nice dealing with you Jack!

One team trades to get roster space, but still gets a stud prospect in return. It'll take take to see how many of these players turn out or how many bust.
