2.5m cash in 2010 should buy him out right? 90% for 2010 is 1.35m, 60% for 2011 is 0.90m. Total is 2.25x1.1=2.475 rounded up to 2.5m.
I needed the space to add two pitchers. I liked Jenmar Gomez, he had a stellar debut, posting Latos like fantasy points. One hit wonder? Willing to drop a bad hitter for him. Then I wanted another active RP so I picked up Bautista. And with those aquisitions I feel ok dropping Gaudin for Drew Sutton.
