The New York Post (whoelse) is reporting that the Nationals and Yankees have struct a deal.

The yankees accept this trade. They move Buehrle from a deep rotation, while adding a solid draft pick to help and re-build a depleted farm.

Nationals confirm. Buerhle is a very reliable starter who I can trust to pitch a whole season and be consistent. While the salary next year seems pretty large for my team, I have way too much cap space going into next season, and am not wanting to rely on free agency for quality players, as they might come with long contracts (which I don't want). Giving up a 2nd round pick for a pitcher of Buerhle's quality should complement my rotation very well this and next season.
