Title: Sens reach a deal with Sharks

Ottawa announces a trade with San Jose. MacArthur's contract is a little hefty for what
he brings but that's the price of a scoring winger and Niederreiter balances the deal. My Sens wanted some producing wingers now as we want to contend this season and need to balance out our roster, while the Sharks wanted some d-men so we shipped them 3 good to great ones in Boyle, Hamonic and stud prospect Murphy. I guess Boyle was destined to go home to San Jose.

San Jose confirms the deal. I was after Ryan Murphy and Boyle since last season. Guess I finally wore down Dickie. lol

I also wanted to move Clark's contract and Ottawa accepted. It's tough to deal away Nino but I got my asking price. :thumbsup:

Both teams get solid players. MacArthur should have a bounce back year and Nino has a ton of upside. SJ gets some very good D-men, especially the young Murphy. Ottawa also frees up a roster space, which is big for a team that has been up against the roster limit.

Ottawa could win this trade depending on the seasons of Nino and MacArthur.

i'll give a clear win to :SJ: by adding 3 very good players.
OTT doesn't clear a roster spot since R.Murphy is a MiLR player.
M.Staal is a risk with his very recent concussion history, missed most of 2011-12.
