Mets have worse record than Boston.

By the way, Jays are not making a deal for Yunel. We are giving his contract for free to the Mets or whomever decides to claim him.

He would go to Boston...it goes to claimant within league, then to opposite league...as it stands it would be

Boston
Mets
Dodgers

Bid was a few minutes late then. 72 hours had just passed. I guess the RCs ruling on Prado will decide where Yunel goes as well. I don't really care either way. Good luck to whoever lands him

Luckilly for the Red Sox, their bid was about 11 minutes late or they could have ended with Prado AND Escobar if Daniel had decided to not pull back the claim.  In any case, the Mets have won this claim and are on the clock.

There is no way I would have been stuck with both I can't just put off chance for a player when waiters don't freeze exactly why I put it worded way I did if I get prado same rules apply late for bid if I didn't get prado my bid would be good

I don't know whether you purposely timed your Escobar claim, so that you missed the 72-hour window.  It would have created a mess if you had bid on Escobar 11 minutes earlier than you did, becasue you would have had the winning claim!

I timed it that was so by struck rules I would have 1 for sure or loose rules the other. For future is need to make sure to have issuie cleared quick because as team owner in tight race I can't just let guy in waivers go then lose another guy because has to be a ruling on another!
Cant let waivers clear on teams who are in limbo

You cannot rescind a claim, regardless of the outcome of other claims.  I can't imagine it's any different in MLB.  If you don't have the total space, prioritize.

How can there be priority when your being held in limbo on a player and other players continue to be moved before you get answer on what your team can do. There isnt issuies a team is held in limbo in MLB while players that can help a team pass waivers before said team finds out if he is on hook for another player or not
