:NYI: has a new owner, snugerud (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=1575) !
He's committed to turning around the Islanders over the next year... after which he may turn the keys over to a new GM... we'll see. Some of you will recognize this vocal & active owner/GM from Dynasty NHL.
Let's welcome Jared to Franchise NHL + toss him a bunch of trade offers to make him feel welcome! snugerud will be facing these challenges with :NYI:
- up against the cap ceiling
- no goalie currently
- a couple of big pending Free Agent defensemen to resign including Kronwall, Liles, Wideman
- injury to key point producer, Gaborik
- weak MiLR
- another new owner/GM who will need to study Drew's Wild roster (2-time defending FNHL Champ) and figure out how to take them down :MIN-NHL: !
