Some important updates for you to be aware of...

1.) Our entry draft starts this Sunday (7/22) at 12pm. See the "Draft Order" thread in the transactions section for more information. Washington... you're up first!

2.) The salary cap for the 2012-2013 season will mirror the real life NHL's cap at 70.3, and I'm putting it into effect today - Each roster page has been updated to reflect these new salary cap figures.

3.) The new league year will begin at 12am on 8/4/2012. You have until then to re-sign all your expiring contracts. Any player not signed by then will become an unrestricted free agent. Please note that during the offseason, I am allowing each team to be over their roster limit by 5 players (Max 35), and to go over the salary cap by ten percent (Max $77.3). Just make sure you correct any overages by 12am on 8/4 or you will face penalties (loss of draft picks and/or salary cap space)

4.) Free Agency will begin at 12am on August 5th. Positions in Free Agency will be released on the following dates:

Defensemen - August 5th
Right Wings - August 12th
Left Wings - August 19th
Centers - August 26th
Goalies - September 2nd

I will be posting more rule updates and clarifications to FA bidding as we get closer to the FA period.
