shipped to Panthers

D, Mike Green, $3.9m (2014-2015)

Capitals accept as we like the upside of Larsson, and we think Green will bounce back but like Larsson better for long-term

we sent the offer to :WAS-NHL: and informed them of the upcoming extension + the reason we wanted to move OEL (to be cap compliant - otherwise OEL would be a core piece of my panthers). Green is a risky but possibly productive D that offers us cap relief. we know he's only played 81 games in the past 2 seasons (yikes) but if he can stay healthy and avoid the "cam-barker-spiral-into-injury-hell" syndrome, we will be happy.
