Title: Tigers/Reds trade
Post by: Dan Wood on June 27, 2012, 05:53:09 AM

Reds get
SP Cobb, Alex, $0.5m (P-2014)

Tigers get
CI Wheeler, Ryan, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Heisey, Chris, $0.5m (P-2013)
P Rodriguez, Julio, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Give up some of my future for a pitcher I think is very decent. Wheeler is killing it and should see some time this year, Rodriguez has been pitching very well in AA. Heisey still has talent, but frustrated upper management with his inconsistency. Thank you Hank for the easy negotiations.

Tigers confirm this deal. Obviously we are rebuilding for the future.

The Tigers will need to drop 3 players.  Matt Skole is missing from their PROFSL roster.
