After over a year of discussion, ProFSL is finally featuring a multi-sport money league. For this to work, I have put together a baseball-less concept in order to have payouts and off-season activities flow together. While this league will be a salary league, it will not be a contracts-style league. It will feature a unique franchise tag rule, but outside of that, all teams are redrafted from scratch. Each city has a pair of teams in order to make each city even. Nearly all transactions, bidding, and trading are handled on the scoring service league pages. The scoring service will be ProFSL. This allows me to be a Commissioner without too much of an administrative burden since all transactions are handled automatically in the system.
There are 25 cities in total resulting in 18 NFL teams, 16 NHL teams, and 16 NBA teams. You will keep one player from each team and put them on a franchise tag which reduces their salary to the league minimum. Payouts will be given out for each sport but primarily on best overall cities. Each city has one owner and only one owner. This owner is called the mayor. The mayor can be the GM of each team, GM one team and hire another GM, hire GMs to run each team, or hire a GM to run both teams.
We are looking for this to be a larger money league in order to maintain stability. No inter-sport trading is allowed in order to maintain competitive balance. Boards will be created in the next week to allow for the recruiting staff to help fill this league.
