Twins trade
C Doumit, Ryan, $4m (2013)     
X-C Doumit, Ryan, Cash Exchange on Contract through 2012, $-3m in 2012
SP Westbrook, Jake, $1m (2013)

Reds trade
CI-OF Belt, Brandon, $0.5m (P-2014)

I do this to get Belt a good young player I really like. I lose Doumit who is a very solid catcher but I have Soto who I hope will come off the DL and return to his old form and Clevenger who is scoring 26 points a game while Soto is hurt and struggling. I lose Westbrook you is a pretty good pitcher on a cheap contract but I think it is worth it for Belt.

Reds do this to continue their WC push. With our most recent trade we had a mess of CIs. It is tough to see Belt go, but Doumit will hold down the fort for a season, and Westbrook is a nice add to the back of my rotation.
