Title: Resignation as Yankees GM

I spoke to Colby about this and he suggested I post it now so that the position could be filled ahead of time.  This will be my last season in the league.  It has been a lot of fun (especially since my team won), but I don't have the time to contribute to a league like this anymore.

I can certainly finish out the season (and will do so unless replaced), and I'll play in the Invitational since it looks like I am a lock to be in with my Franchise GM Championship last year.  However, if you feel the position can be filled sooner than later than go ahead.

Thanks for the fun everyone.

The resignation is true and it leaves the most valuable franchise with an opening for the first time in its FGM history.  Jim has made some drastic moves this year to clear cap space in the future and build up the farm.  The team is currently tied for first in the AL East and is looking to repeat as WS Champs.  If anyone is interested in taking over this position then post here.  GMs can move from one franchise to another only if they spent a full season with their current team.  This only qualifies :MIL:, :LAD:, :CLE:, :PIT:, :PHI:.

Good luck to you, Jim.  Hope you are able to have more free time in the future and come back to the leagues.

Whoever takes over this squad has a lot available to them.  Let's make sure it is a very qualified person at MLFB.

Had I been here for a year I'd seriously consider the move over.   Good luck and sorry to lose a good manager.
