Title: Reds Pale Hose Trade

White Sox get

P Boxberger, Brad, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Stubbs, Drew, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Reds get

CI Walker, Neil, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Garland, Jon, $6.5m (2012)
+ 6 mil in 2010

I do this because I get a young MI. I could also use the pitching help for the stretch run. Stubbs is a very good young OF, and Boxberger is quickly climbing up the minor league ladder. My farm takes a bit of a hit, but I am all in for this year. White Sox to confirm.

Stubbs fills an immediate need both as an OF and my lack of stolen bases. Garland became somewhat expendable due to my recent dealing, not to mention his cost. Walker was as close as you can get to unavailable but at least I didn't fill a hole by creating a hole.
My idea of a good trade, filling the needs of both teams. Pleasure working with you Dan.
