Title: The Prince has worn out his welcome
Post by: irbwilleo on May 04, 2012, 09:41:16 AM
Hey guys, thanks for including me in the league.  It is time to get down to business.

I need to move Fielder, I am willing to pay 1/2 his contract this year, and a decreasing portion for years to come.

PM me if interested, I am looking for young, cheap talent in return

Unfortunately we have a rule we can not trade a player who was signed the past off season until June 15th.  I would love to have him and a couple other FA that have been signed but we have to wait until then.

Of course, that doesn't mean you can't try to work out an offer in the weeks leading up to it. Just won't get processed until then.

Are you willing to pay 1/2 his contract or want to pay 1/2 his contract? I'm not saying right now I would look to trade for him and pay his entire salary, but it's a possibility. Yes, even after taking on Jason Bay and Derek Jeter, I still have enough room in my salary cap, haha.

Thanks for taking on Bay's contract, btw. ;)

I DEFINITELY won't be laughing in September.  But I will be laughing in October.   :bacon:
