Title: Cubs/Phillies Trade
Post by: speedster18431 on April 21, 2012, 09:43:41 PM

Cubs Trade
Jeff Niemann $903,000 2014

Phillies Trade
Vance Worley $440,000 2016
Sebastian Valle  Prospect no MLB contract

Cubs accpet this trade with Philly.I hate losing Niemann but Im getting two young guys in return. I love getting Vance Worley a nice young arm to help me rebuild my pitching staff for a long time and also getting mybe my next future catcher in Sebastian Valle who is bringing me good depth in my farm system and creating a strong farm.

philies accept trade as well
hated losing valle but hope that i can fill my hole at catcher and have a few i like by next year in the draft or through free agency i know he was a nice catcher but don't expect him to be around this year and maybe he will be by 2012 or 2013 hopefully by then i will have another catcher that can take his spot in starting.  I really like getting niemann in the deal because there is just something about him that i have always liked.

thanks
