I need some pitching help. I know Im taking on a long term deal. But this is got to be my year to win my Division. Huff will sit down now and Peavy will fill in. I hope this works now. And I hope Quentin and Abreu start hitting the ball.

I picked up a player who is playing and dumped peavy's salary. The picks are extras.

Approved. Good deal.

I think the Indians could have gotten more in this deal. They may as well cut Peavy and saved more money over the life of the contract. Snyder and the mid-round draft picks are mediocre return, but this deal has already been approved.

I think you mean the Padres could have gotten more. And yes I did approve but I overlooked the money the padres were giving to the Indians. Unless I'm missed the Chris Snyder bandwagon, im not sure what those picks do. I guess they were thinking that saving money and getting something in return was better than saving a lil extra and getting nothing in return.

I think I through a much better offer out there for Peavy... good grab by the Indians.

wouldn't take a whole lot, but everyone has their own personal player values. I am currently kicking myself for not entering my name into the sweepstakes.

Yeah, I meant the Padres... good deal for the Indians, but I think the Padres could have gotten more in return.

The real value in this deal is the salary dump. I am not a peavy fan and 14m a season is too much for a pitcher on my team, I only have 60m in salary cap. The return could have been more but I probably would have been on the hook for more cap. I was just happy to clear the cash.
