Title: Extended year for trading draft picks
Post by: joeshmoe on May 25, 2010, 02:45:58 PM
I wanted to bring up the idea of setting up a system to trade next years picks.  I'm not even sure if they do this in the MLB.  But it would add another layer of depth to the league.  Lower level teams could acquire future picks or the better teams could trade those future picks to get some talent if it could put them over the top.  It could also become very confusing so I'm aware of that aspect.  What do you guys think, good?  Bad?

It is in the rules that we will no longer allow trading of draft picks after 2010.
1) This makes administration of this league easier for the EC.
2) MLB doesn't allow trading of picks so we follow suit.
3) Makes each side of a trade much more simple to value.
