Title: Rockies Contract Buyout of Previously Released Player
Post by: Paul S. on September 08, 2026, 07:09:17 PM

Luis Rengifo $5m 2026 and $3.5m 2027 cap hits = $8.5m x 1.1 = $9.35m rounded to $9.5m 2026 revised cap hit

+Mike Yastrzemski correction needs to be made to make the cap work.  Apparently Yastrzemski is being shown as a free agent signing by the Rockies with his $10m 2027 original salary.  I believe the Guardians signed him to a $0.5m salary.

I'm going to process this on Fantrax. Should leave you with a $500K balance.
I'll move it to "Be processed on Google". Looks like Yaz wasn't dropped from your roster for some reason
