Post by: TheLongHorn on August 03, 2026, 04:51:12 PM

Pirates send:

MI Jojo Parker PC

Phillies send:

C Joey Bart $2m (2027)

Pirates agree to send a prospect that we can replace in the upcoming draft to add a backup catcher, Shea is out for the season so Bart is going to hold it down for the rest of the year. Phillies to confirm.

Phillies confirm trade with Pirates.

We had an extra catcher and needed a roster spot for recent acquisitions and receive a prospect to rebuild farm team.

Thanks Loghorn!
