Title: Dodgers/Marlins Trade 8/2/26 12:11P
Post by: BHows on August 02, 2026, 06:32:25 AM

Dodgers send Vance Honeycutt OF BAL $0.5m 2050 to the Marlins for
Kyle Higashioka C TEX $1.5m 2026

I've got an outside shot at the playoffs this year and Hicks is going thru a rough patch. Just adding a little insurance.

Thanks Shonn for the trade, confirm when you can

Confirmed. This trade fits with my rebuild model. Honeycutt is a solid prospect and Higashioka?s contract is expiring and is of better use to Rick at this time. Cheers.
