Title: Colorado/Minnesota Trade 7/12/26 4:46P
Post by: Buck on July 12, 2026, 04:29:28 PM

Colorado trades Alec Burleson, CI/OF, .5 3rd

Minnesota trades Jesus Luzardo, SP, 5M 2028

My hopes of a playoff appearance have been dashed.  I need to build a competitive offense for next season.  I have to rely on my young arms to step up and perform for me next season.

Burleson is #45 in points, while Luzardo is #127.

Rockies confirm.  Burleson was signed to a $6m (2031) extension in April.  Luzardo will help pick up the slack after most of our starting pitchers hit the IL this season.
