Title: RC makes ruling on when FA signings can be traded (effective NOW)
Post by: Colby on May 19, 2010, 11:01:52 AM

NEW RULE:  Free Agent signings cannot be traded until 60 days after they have signed.  Any players picked up before this rule has been put in place will be grandfathered in by the old rules.

REASONS: Prevents possible problems after the current June 1st deadline, eliminates confusion over the old rule, and it is a simple compromise between MLB and our league that makes it work in fantasy baseball.

THIS IS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
