Title: Brewers/Mets Trade 6/24/26 5:04P
Post by: NippyJones on June 24, 2026, 05:02:51 PM

The Brewers trade to the Mets:

OF Heriberto Hernandez ($0.5M - 1st)
SP Joseph Dzierwa (Prospect)

The Mets trade to the Brewers:

SP Peter Lambert ($0.5M - 2027)

The Brewers are making this deal to replenish our SP which has been decimated by injuries and demotions. I lose a young OF from a position of strength and a promising SP prospect but I need help now on the pitching side. The Mets will confirm.

Agree to the trade,  Lambert is a good cheap sp for me but need to build towards the future with 2 young players with potential.
