Title: Mets and Mariners reach an agreement
Post by: Daniel on March 04, 2012, 07:28:27 PM

Taijuan Walker
Mike Carp
Justin Smoak
Vincent Catricala
Stefen Romero

for

David Wright
Dillon Gee
Ruben Tejada
Jeffry Marte

I take a gamble on some young prospects with high upside and manage to somewhat decrease my payroll. Mariners to accept. Thanks for the speedy negotiations.

I accept this deal.Im very happy to land David Wright and Ruben Tejada.I expect big things from Wright with them bringing in the walls in and Tejada stepping in Reyes old shoes and I just hope he stays healthy and just makes contact with that ball his speed will get him on.I cant forget about me Gee who adds depth to my pitching staff that needs it and Marte a good prospect.I hate losing the prospects but I couldnt pass up on the guys I was getting back in return.
