Nationals trade:

Dax Kilby MI NYY
Brody Hopkins SP TB
Cooper Ingle C CLE

Rays trade:

Dylan Cease SP TOR $8.0MM 2027
Rays pay $8MM of Cease's 2026 salary and $2MM of his 2027 salary

Nats approve.  My squad is off to a good start so I'm pushing in my chips for a playoff run.  I'm giving up a ton of prospects in the process but I hope it's worth it.  Thanks and good luck Kyle!

Rays approve the trade.

So far a disappointing start to my run in this league but this trade helps me in the long term.  I am a huge believer in in Hopkins as the Rays know how to develop pitching.  Throw in 2 more top 100 prospects by many rankings and I felt like it was a win-win deal for both teams, even if I have to eat a little salary in 2027.

From 5:00- 7:00 or so this morning I sorted trades, cash exchanges and Cap hits. This popped up when I got that done so I rtme stamped it and sent out notifications to the TC here and on FT.
Looks like I did everything but weigh in on the trade.
