Title: Pirates - Yankees Trade-2/7/26 12:55A
Post by: TheLongHorn on February 06, 2026, 10:37:41 PM

Pirates send:

C Luis Torrens $2.5M (2026)

Yankees send:

RP Orion Kerkering arb 1 500k

At this time, Pirates see more value in a young reliever with a lot of team control than a catcher on an expiring deal. Yankees to confirm.

Looked for a good back up C in Torrens with the Mets with swap of over load of RP in my roster. Good all around. Thanks Pirates. I confirm.
