Title: Pirates-Rays 1/24/26 11:20P
Post by: TheLongHorn on January 24, 2026, 11:16:02 PM

Pirates send:

MI Ha-Seong Kim $6m (2028)

OF Max Clark PC

Rays send:

MI Joswa Lugo PC

P AJ Russell PC

Pirates make the $18m gamble that I can spend the cash somewhere more productive then my IL spot, which is where Kim likes to hangout a lot. Happy with the prospect return, Rays to confirm.

Taking a gamble on Kim (who will replace Dubon in my lineup and in the Braves lineup later this season) that he will rebound a bit. But let's not kid ourselves, the prize here for me is Clark and this move keeps me in win-now mode with Kim replacing my biggest weakness in my lineup even if he is overpaid and adding hopefully a future stud to my young core.

Good doing business with you Pirates!
